Website “Clean Up”

If you have a website that you at least “kind of” like, but aren’t sure if it will actually work for you – the “clean up” can help with that. The clean up involves making your site more streamlined and help the potential new patient find the information that they need to make a the choice to visit your office.

We evaluate the message your site delivers, any photos, and your current website pages. Can a visitor find the information they need to call you? Do they get a sense of who you are and why they should choose your office?

More importantly, is there anything on your site that is confusing, distracting, or would make someone think twice before calling you?

Website Optimization

Many people think that becoming “optimized” will shoot their website to the top of the search engines (I used to think that). Instead, optimizing means making it very clear to the search engines what your site is about.

Optimizing involves changing some behind the scenes aspects of your site, including your title tags, your meta description, and your meta keywords (don’t worry if you don’t know what this means – we do!). We also evaluate the content of your home page to make sure your text focuses on the right keyword phrases.

Blog

A blog is a dynamic and active website. Not only does creating a blog give you another potential listing in the search engine results, but you also have the opportunity to rank for more keyword phrases that you probably wouldn’t choose for your main site.

Your main website may rank for just your “city name + chiropractor,” while each blog post can create more opportunities for you. Now you can rank for “city name + chiropractor for kids” and “city name + chiropractor for sports injuries.”

Blogs also present a great opportunity for you to communicate with your current patients. Sharing articles and creating online discussions involve your patients in hearing more about your health message and are more readily accepted and more interesting than a standard newsletter.

Facebook

Facebook has taken on a life it’s own. The most popular social media outlet, your patients can become “fans” of your office and become your “friends” via facebook.

People are generally happier to read a blurb about new things going on with your office than you sending them e-mails. Facebook is another opportunity for you to engage your current and potential new patients where they already hang out online.

Local Map Listing

Type your city name + chiropractor into the search engines and you get 3 different sets of listings; you get the paid ads (at the top and the right), the organic search listings (at the bottom), and you see a map with 7 chiropractic offices listed (right in the middle).

This is the local map listing and you need to be in that list of 7 offices. Why? The map is often the first place the web searcher will look. It shows who is closest and often includes reviews and more information.
The map listing can act as a mini-website showing key information and sharing your message with the potential new patient – but they have to find you on the map.

Twitter

Are you social? Do you like to interact and participate in conversations? Are you willing to do more with your message than just advertise? Are you willing to share information, share your personality, and network? Than twitter is a great medium for you.

On twitter, you engage “followers” who will learn to enjoy your “tweets” or learn to ignore your message altogether. The best tweeters interact and respond to other people’s messages and comments. We can help you get set up and into the conversation.
